Event attendance certificates
Thank every attendee with a certificate they can share and anyone can verify, without typing a single name by hand.
How it works for an event
Collect or import attendees
Turn on the public sign-up form for your event and share its link or embed it on your site, or import the attendee list from a CSV file. You can set a limit and a closing date.
Design once
Start from the event-attendance templates and fill in the event name and date. Each attendee's name is merged in automatically.
Issue and verify
Every attendee gets an email with their certificate as a PDF, a verification page and a QR code. Re-running the event skips people who already have theirs.
What you get
- A certificate and, if you want, a badge for each person. Each counts as one credential.
- A recipient portal where each person can view, download and share their credentials, including adding them to LinkedIn.
- Counts of views, shares, downloads and verifications, so you can see what landed.
- Everything in English and Spanish, including the emails and the verification page.
Good to know
Certifyd issues certificates after the event from a list; it does not scan people in at the door. The free plan covers 12 credentials a month, so a 40-person event needs a paid plan or the list split across months.
Questions
Can attendees sign up through Certifyd?
Yes. Each event can have a public sign-up form with its own link and embed code, an optional limit and closing date, and your own questions.
How does someone check that a certificate is real?
They scan the QR code or open the verification link. The page shows the issuer, recipient, date and whether the credential is valid, expired or revoked. No account is needed.
