Accredible prices by recipient and sells mainly through demos. Certifyd prices by credential, publishes every price and has a free plan. Here is how that plays out, with links to Accredible's own pages.

Reading the prices
The two price lists count different things, so they cannot be compared one to one. Accredible Launch is $45 a month on a 12-month commitment, which is $540 a year for 50 recipients, about $10.80 per recipient per year before add-ons. Accredible lets you issue unlimited credentials to each unique recipient. Certifyd counts each certificate or badge as one credential: Professional billed annually is $468 a year for up to 24,000 credentials. If every person receives one or two credentials a year, Certifyd costs far less per person; if each person receives many credentials, the gap narrows.

Where Accredible is stronger
- Its home page highlights learning pathways, branded credential directories, email campaigns and white-label options. Certifyd's site does not list these.
- Scale. Its home page reports more than 201 million credentials issued and verified for more than 2,300 customers. Certifyd publishes no usage numbers.

- A free plan and a self-serve start. You can issue your first certificate in about ten minutes without a demo.
- The REST API, scoped keys and signed webhooks are on every plan, not an add-on.
